Top Cottage - Sleeps 2

Top Cottage is a new addition in 2023. Accessed from the Barn courtyard it is a self contained annexe flat, part of our new farmhouse building, but completely separate.

The flat looks out over our fields to the west and towards the village of Child Okeford half a mile away. Although there is no garden you very much feel in the country. You can see the church tower and the village roofs in the distance.  It  is a lovely retreat and a base to explore Dorset.

Designed for two people it is reached by a few steps at the far end of the Barn courtyard. The living room is generous, light and airy, and the kitchen area although small is well equipped including microwave, hob, oven, fridge and dishwasher. The bedroom has a king-size bed and the generous bathroom has both bath and shower.  We can provide a travel cot for a baby. 

It would also make a superb addition for anyone wanting to take one of the opther properties but needing another bedroom and sitting room. Grandparents needing thier own space spring to mind.
